Well, I chose the "There’s a war on! I want/need to do my part." option. My grades are pretty good, not stellar mind you, but good nonetheless and I live just outside of LA so I'm guessing that I don't fall into the "rural areas" group.

I'm not gonig to join up solely for the war, I reckon I would join even if we were at peace. Rather, I want to join because I know that I can be stronger, more disciplined, and more capable that I am now. Going to the military, and more specifically the Marines, is the best way for me to become a stronger person mentally and physically.

Also, I see going to war as an obvious and expected side affect. I hear from time to time about people who enlisted complaining about having to go to war and it bugs me. I mean, what did you expect? You don't join a military if you don't want to face the possibility of going to war.
