Bronco: I know you are not trying to be disrespectful. I know from two tours to Vietnam. One was with the M-14 and the outher with the m-16. My youngest is a Marine and has one tour Iraq and is do to go over again in Feb 06. He tells me just about everyone in his company wish they had something biger than the m-16. They want M-14s. Rember that the m-16 is just a small varment round, a 223 round. I have a 22-250 remington that I love. Where the 223 starts to go down the 22-250 is still going strong. Both the 223 and 22-250 are really a .22 cal. The 22-250 has a larger case.As does the 220 swift.
