It is certainly true that the US and its allies have plenty of justifiable reasons for entering Iran... and Syria and Saudi Arabia, and North Korea, and, and... But it's also true that every nation - even the United States - has to choose its battles. There are spooky things afoot in virtually every hemisphere at the moment. But we can't deal with all of them at the same time and armed conflict is not the only, nor is it always the best solution.

Iran, though, seems determined to put itself on the top of our list and I hope that we, and the rest of the civilized world, grow the stones to deal with them before they gain nuclear capabilities.
