So I thought about this for a while.

We don't wear the Class B uniform. Ever.

Our cadre do wear the short sleeved green shirt pretty much all the time... and it gets cold here.

With my limited experience, IF we were to wear the class B uniform regularly, we would have set an SOP as a BN (through the c/CSM) and I would almost put money on it that we would wear long sleeves when we're in the colder months. I don't think AR 670-1 has any specifics on the wear of the uniform, but I'd start there before I got too far into making any decisions or asking more questions.
