I was wondering when this was going to come up. It's an historical inaccuracy. Hitler was never elected to anything, he was appointed by Reich President Von Hindenburg at the behest of German Industrialists and right wing politicians. The Nazi Party never received more than 45% of the popular vote in any fair election that it ran candidates in. Nor did they ever win a workable majority of the seats in the German Reichstag. This is not the case with Hamas, they won a clear majority of both the popular vote and the seats in the Palestinian Parliament.
