That's kind of strange. I'm in my school's Army JROTC program, and it is manditory for cadets to wear their class B's every Thursday, no exceptions. Although, some of the higher ranking senior cadets wear class A's. Our class B's are short-sleeved, which is a bit uncomfortable in the winter due to the frigid temperature of where the JROTC classrooms are located. But I'd much rather prefer wearing class A's, they just look so much nicer-- and besides, they're warm.
Our battalion recently was promoted to Honor Unit, which is a great achievement for us seeing how in the past our battalion has never been this organized or had such a high moral. Therefore I've come to my own conclusion that the battalion should be rewarded by getting class A's for all of the cadets. Heh, I doubt that will happen though. But there's always hope!
