I get the same thing. My recruiter said that the 20k bonus is probably only go to be offered for a very limited time and that those who get it are lucky their getting that much.
Since it ihas come up a few times in this thread. I am leaving for basic on June 23rd so maybe I will meet some people from the forums there.
