I really can't tell you much now, but when I was in MP School (1969) it was hard but the best training I ever had. That includes all the training I had in 30 years as a civilian Police Officer.

Most of it was mental stress. They actually messed with us more than they did in Basic Training.

Like I said, I can't say how it is now, but I can say go for it. MP all the way.
