The "rumor" thing at the bottom refers to the fact that currently you do NOT need a college diploma/degree to become Direct Commissioned.
We are being told that after 1 Oct 2006 (next FY) that a degree/diploma will become a REQUIREMENT.
Just what I've heard (from Retention NCO.)
(WOC fields are pretty much wide open now also.)
