If you make your ice tea properly, it ain't wimpy. Start out with a clear gallon jug, fill it half way up with water, add 10 tea bags or ten teaspoons of loose tea, put plastic wrap over the top to keep the crawlies out and let it sit in the sun till you can't see through it. While it's still warm, strain the loose tea or remove the bags and stir in two cups of sugar. Taste it. If it ain't sweet enough add sugar (it should be considerably sweeter than you would like it to be to keep the ice from watering it down). Fill the rest of the jug with ice and put it in your fridge.
Serve over ice in tall glasses.
