Yup, I'm beginning to think "once a Marine, there's nothing you can't do no matter how old you get".
There was a former Marine (in his 70s) on a tour with a group to a Central American country a couple of years back. There was a mugger who was armed and tried to hold up the group of American tourists. The retired Marine ended up killing the guy with his bare hands. Guess the training lasts a lifetime!
