Could be interesting to know that during the Yom Kippur war in the '70s the Egyptian Army had a unit of snipers entirely formed by ladies.

They were the highest kill ratio unit fielded by this Army in that war.

Also the Russian Army had some of their best snipers that just happened to be female.
