I like the idea, as long as the intent is to honor the service of the departed. Period. I recently came across a documentary on an obscure satellite channel. It was touted as being about a Vietnam vet amputee who was volunteering with families of servicemembers wounded and killed in Iraq. What it actually was, was a politically-charged (read, anti-Bush/anti Iraq war) diatribe, using the poor grieving families of casualties as propoganda fodder.
