I thought this was a ROTC question, not JROTC. Anyways, I was always under the impression classes taken on active duty were paid for, at least the ones offered on base. As for wanting to be a pilot, what kind of pilot? Rotary or fixed wing? If you want rotary, join the Army they'll teach you, now the next piece of advice I give is not to be taken literally, because I am not sure about how accurate it is, but I was told once that the Air Force has an elisted fliers program. I believe they only fly cargo planes, how truthful that is beyond my level of caring.
