Isnt the CO of Sniper School an Officer and a qualified Sniper? I would think if you are going to be in charge of a school you should know what is going on under your command.
And as far as I know...if you are attending Sniper School then more then likely you are already in either a DM or Sniper position anyway and just need the formal training.
