They guard the base, guard aircraft, help in the escort of dignataries, enforce traffic laws, patrol (vehicle) the base, rescue kittens stuck in trees, help the stupid people that can not shoot a freakin M-4 or M-16 hit the broad side of a barn, work 12 hour shifts (until contract workers come online).... ya know cool stuff.

They have also been known to help the Combat Transportation (LRS) Convoys in Iraq, do some patrols with the Army (Iraq), prisoner movement of the Taliban from Afghanistan to Camp X-Ray ..... blah, blah, blah.
