Hell, I'd take being an officer over an e6 anyday. Especially if you've already served a deployment or two while being enlisted. Officers that think they know everything out of OCS or West Point or something like that, I have the 'respect the rank, not the person' theory over, but if you've served before as an officer, or if you've moved up from being enlisted, then I have a great deal of respect for you because you actually know your job and how to do it.

Like they say, you can't spell 'lost' without 'lt'

(side story: my cherry LT was reading a map upside down and wondered why we got lost, we don't give him the map anymore to say the least)
