Enlisting as 18X - Trying for Medic

I am completely psyched about everything, but I'd like to know what I need to do to get physically ready for the rigors of initial training. I've been told that you are worked up from the level you are at, but I don't know if this is recruiter BS or truth.

MEPS to MEPS transfer (I processed in San Antonio for AF last year cuz my grandpa was AF, but ditched when they wanted me to go open general) will be done in about 4-5 days.

I'm not sure when the next ship date is for SF, but I want to do everything I can to be ready when the time comes. I am currently working out twice a day. I'm 5'11, 180lb, and just slightly out of shape.

Can someone tell me in general what I should be able to endure physically by the time I ship out?

Also... I was mentioning to my recruiter that I scored 99 percent on my ASVAB and he bluntly said "That's not a percentage." I thought I had done well.

So... what the hell does it mean when it says "AFQT: 99"

Thanks a lot, everyone.
