I think I have to disagree with you on this one. I think with him dissapearing like he did, the CIA and FBI will want to know something about what happened.
Think about it, if he was a crypo linguist he had access to a lot of classified info. He could be doing us a lot of harm even here in the States. He will be "talked to" a lot to find out what really happened. At least I really hope so.
