There are assets that we use along the borders that do not give away their positions. However when something is spotted, the political gamit of getting clearance to drop now comes into play because we are in the rebuilding phase.

As far as individuals moving over. I have never had a problem. However a few have tried to pass and our trucks have signs that say do not pass, stay back. They dont listen ---- they better pray the rear vehicle ony hits the radiator.

Rotary wing does great as long as you are getting attacked and they can get eyes on pretty quickly. IEDs are remotely detonated, or set off by pressure sensors .... so helos will not really be able to help unless they see the guy setting the IED.
