Conventional Wisdom
We all know those stupid old sayings that are supposed to impart wisdom, like "The Early Bird Gets the Worm" or "Eagles Soar Higher than Turkeys"

Let's hear the more realistic (cynical) addendums to conventional wisdom.


I'll start:

"The Early Bird Gets the Worm... but it's the Second Mouse that gets the cheese!"
