AS1 pulling strings for SLS

theres a guy in my flight that was able to pull strings to get into summer leadership school before he joined jrotc should he get automatic promotions for this?

it's like that in certain programs. like njrotc cadets can get promoted if they go to a boot camp like thing, they also get a ribbon for it. as far as i know the airforce or army jrotc's don't have it, and i know for sure mcjrotc's don't.

Whats wierd tho is that he did it in middle school before joining jrotc he joined jrotc like a month ago and they want to make him a cadet command master sergeant because of it

i dunno... i don't like how they run afjrotc's... at least at the local one. they only get promoted for a job and once that job's done, they take it away. i think if you deserved that job, then you deserve that rank. just things seem so different... too used to mcjrotc ways i guess, or gunny and colonel's ways anyway, lol :P
