Unsat SF Cop
Quote:
First off, you are completely right. That is unsat. What became of this? Why did you supervisor back down? He's an NCO isn't he? Considering this happened not long ago, I would definitely report this dirtbag to his chain. Call the Law Enforcement Desk and ask the number to their "Operations section". Hopefully you have his name. Having said that, I know just how annoying it is when some idiot can't stand the fact that you have authority over him. The fucks can't understand that you are just doing what you're told and don't need some immature pissing contest because of it. You know how many times people have yelled at me for having my beret on on the flightline or to put my reflective belt on(sf doesn't have to comply with either of those flightline standards)? What's funnier is that they never say anything to me unless I'm checking their 1199. What's even funnier than that is that it hasn't happened since I've put on SSgt. So that leads me to believe these guys can't stand being told what to do by an Airman. It's pathetic and extremely irritating. Your cop may have been having a really bad day. Perhaps he had been in a run-in with some other maintainers or one of his flight members. Yet, how he handled himself (if it was indeed the way you said it was) was unsat. If it upset you that much, report him. -Jorge |
