OO-RAH Silver Eagles!
Well it seems that VMFA-115 is deploying next week to Iwakuni Japan. wish us all luck. Anybody have any word on what could go on over there?

I guess this answers the questions we asked in your other thread
 I was last in Iwakuni in 1983-84 with VMFA-235. 20 years on it's hard to say what you will find. We deployed to Subic Bay, Okinawa and Korea when we were there. I doubt you will see Subic, I think it's closed. Okinawa probably and for sure Korea. We were at the Korean Air base near Yechon when I was there. -Top |
