Hey everyone,

I just joined the Army on Friday April 8th. Im in it for 3 years 18 months and the job i took was Cavalry Scout- AKA 19D.

Hmm being a cav scout the chances of you becoming True AIR Cav are well slim to none. Unless you happen to get assigned to an AIR CAV squadron. But even then you will not truly be an AIR CAV trooper. But the love is still the same for a fellow trooper.

I was a 19D for 10 years. You will have some fun in that job. The Air CAv is a completely different thing today than it was before. You will still get to go for rides on the birds though. Just depends on where you are stationed. Scouts Out
