sure they are but most of the times our guys got hit, they either glanced off or just shook em up a bit. Any else? like is the 25mm devastating or is it just a sorry excuse for a 120mm SABOT round?

I'm supporting 2/72 Armor in Korea, but not for much longer. Korea is different anyway, we hardly ever see our maneuver co.

I'm a new CavScoutMom. Well, not 'yet', my son is headed to BCT this January. This is all new to me being I know only about the Coast Guard, water (more than what is in a canteen), Maritime Law Enforcement and Search & Rescue.

Exudos = If this is what I am thinking of it refers to block leave time IE Christams Exudos and so forth

Spur Ride= Is a Cavalary tradition of earning a pair of spurs, There are two ways of earning the spurs One is by going to combat in a CAV unit the other is doing the spur ride which usually consists of 2-3 days of testing road marching memorizing fiddlers green( a cav poem you could say) At the end of it you attend a Spur Dinner and celebrate earning your spurs.

Fiddler's Green (Cavalry)

Halfway down the trail to hell

Are the souls of all dead troopers camped

Marching past, straight through to hell,

Though some go curving down the trail
To seek a warmer scene,
No trooper ever gets to Hell
Ere he's emptied his canteen,
And so rides back to drink agaln
With friends at Fiddlers' Green.

And so when man and horse go down
Beneath a saber keen,
Or in a roaring charge or fierce melee
You stop a bullet clean,
And the hostiles come to get your scalp,
Just empty your canteen,
And put your pistol to your head
And go to Fiddlers' Green.
