Unclear about the PQS
I just wanted to make sure I'm completely clear on how this works. While I'm in boot or immediately after boot camp I take the PQS and if I were to pass, from that point on I would become an E-2 for sure?

There is no PQS. If you don't screw up and have tine in service you become an E2.

LoL. What do you mean there is no PQS? There is a PQS. If the PQS gets passed and I believe the PRT is passed, you will be in paygrade E-2 throughout boot. However, you will still be considered a Seaman Recruit.
