i could doggy paddle my way through any swimming test, anything else i would drowned

.... so go and punch said bastard for being dumb and not knowing what he was talking about. There is a swim test if you go SF. I think you also have to complete a swim in RANGER as well. The one for SF is somewhere in the neighborhodd of 200 yards with weapon, LBE, boots and uniform.
