Just got back from Meps

I just got back from MEPS and i passed my bodyfat test and i am set to leave to fort benning on october 26th

it happend way to fast, right after i passed the test and went back to the army office they already had my ship out date, i didnt even have time to think. and to tell the truth i am kinda freaked out now

You've been working your way toward this for a long time now. They're doing you a favore by not giving you lots of time to sit and stew and worry. You'll be fine.

Get squared away what you can get squared away, financial wise and get someone you really trust to take on power of attorney if you cant get it all covered yourself before you ship out.

Exactly what did you think was going to happen? Army recruitment has been down for months, did you think they were going to let you sit around and ferment for a few months? If this has freaked you out you might be in for a rough ride over the next 6 mos or a year.

i am good now.. i was up at 4am with barely any sleep the night before and everything was just a daze, so i took a little nap and all worries are gone, the thing was it just happends so fast. this is something i wanted for awhile now, and im sure ill be fine in bootcamp well pretty sure. some drill sargent was there reenlisting and he kept giving me shit so that didnt help.

so all in all, i cant wait to go.

i would like to thank everyone for all advice given, even if the advice was writen to someone else, i would still get alot out of it, i had to lose about 35 lbs and whenever i'd say fuck it im giving up, i would come on here and get remotivated. i had to get from 30% body fat to 26% and i passed it with 25.97%. but im sure i will never get this big again or as long as im in the military
