There are 3X that your DI will let you take them off.

1. For your pictures with the platoon and your clip-on blues
2. Visitor's thursday
3. Graduation

man this topic sure has grown with ouot a resolution.

First off have you applied to the military ?
Second, did you have your entrance phsyical?

if you went thru your physical and had an eye exam, could you read the chart yes or no. If no did they ask you if you wear glasses, to put them on and what did you say YES or NO ?

If Yes did they say put them on and read the damn chart and passed the eye exam. Now your records show "FNG wears glasses" CONGRADULATIONS..4 eyes.

If NO then you failed your eye exam and guess what " Your Fired" opps I mean not military material, find a new career.

Solution solved.

PS: never listen to rumors especially if your in the military. Do what you have to do to succed and move on soldier. But first you have to pass an eye exam.

ps2: there is one option not mentioend before....crazy glue glasses to head never fall off...problem solved.
