Best Choices for Stationing
Considering OCS, and I realize that most weight goes to the needs of the Army. However, every candidate is asked for the 10 preferences of stationing. What would be your top 10? Make sure to include state or country abbreviation.

Re: Best Choices for Stationing
At this point, Schofield is on my list. I know I have little to no chance of Italy, since I am not considering going Airborne (Which has two primary stations: Bragg and Vicenza). I would like to goto Rucker, since its close to family and I've heard its pretty nice. I've gone to school in North Carolina, so ...nothing against Bragg, but the rumours about the conditions of the base and the locale are true. But then again, the military isn't a country club, so can't complain too much.

Re: Best Choices for Stationing
I do have family in the area around there, but then again I'm really hoping for an European stationing. My dad's first stationing was at Baumholder.

Not everyone likes it as cold as we do JR.
I don't see Korea here either. You got to try it at least once. Camp Casey, Yongsan, Camp Red Cloud, Camp Humphreys............ |

Re: Best Choices for Stationing
I wouldn't mind Korea. I have many friends from school there, and have a bit of knowledge about the language, culture and food. I would like to be closer to home so communication with the family isnt made when I am waking up or going to bed.
