A little question

This is something I ran into the other day. I was just looked at it and said..."Wtf?" I know what all the tabs are and what the mean, I have just never seen them over an infantry division patch. I was just wondering if this is like a LRRP Platoon or scout platoon or something.

These do exist unofficially usually in a limited theater of operations, or in a garrison out of CONUS. Lettered Ranger companies existed during the Vietnam conflict. I have seen color and subdued versions on fatigues, never on Class A's. Currently they are being faked for sale to unwitting customers.

Your guess on LRRP or Scout platoons is most likely correct.

cool, thanks. I had just never heard of a regular Infantry division with an Airborne tab.
