WHat are your PT scores like?
rights now i have a PT score of 275
Self administered going into benning for boot in july, i want to be a ranger. what is the typical PT score of a ranger? age category 17- 21 male -Joe |

I usually get about a 270. I can max the pushups and the Situps but I suck at running. I have never been a real strong runner.

You want to go to Ranger School or be a Ranger? Back in my day, nothing less than 300 was acceptable. They might not throw you out of the Bat for getting a 295 say, but it would earn you continuous smoke sessions until the next PT test.

If you want to become a Ranger, you are going to have to belong to a unit that has Ranger Slots. From my understanding they are few and far in between in the National Guard. But I may be wrong, if I am please correct me.

Sorry stud, your data is entirely innacurate. If one wants to become a Ranger they have to serve in the 75th. If you want to become a Ranger qualified Soldier, you gotta go to Suck School. ie going to Ranger School makes you Ranger qualified, it does not make you a Ranger.
