New Infantry Recurit

Just wanted to say Hi. I am leaving in about a week for infantry school (Nov 16). I am willing to listen to any adivce if anyone is willing to give me any on infantry school. But mostly this post is just to say hi to my soon to be fellow soliders.

Hello, and good luck. I know some Drills down at Benning...they are good folks. Listen to them. I dont know much about you, and I won't make any assumptions. Just remember...pay attention to what you are taught!

We are at war. Give your training 150% of your effort, and soak up the lessons taught to you. Be humble, work your ass off, and shut up. Most importantly, remember that the lessons, tactics, and skills that you learn (and how well you learn them) will likely someday save your own life or that of your buddy. Good luck.
