Formal Wear Short Sleeve Shirts
What are the regulations on these shirts? What types of accesories are worn on them? Do soldiers wear their rank on the top of the shoulders on these shirts? Lastly what color are these shirts and the formal wear pants?

Re: Formal Wear Short Sleeve Shirts
Not sure which shirt you are talking about. If your talking about the Class B short sleeved shirt, what you wear on it depends....There were times we'd have a Class B inspection and our command wanted all ribbons and awards, other times just name plate. Where you wear your rank depends on your rank. E4 and below wear it on their collar, E5 and up wear the lapel boards on their shoulders. The pants are also green.
I could be wrong, but the "formal" uniform (Dress Blues or Dress Mess) does not have a short sleeved shirt. |

Re: Formal Wear Short Sleeve Shirts
Yea I was referring to Class B shirts I just didn't know what they were called. Is there any regulations on how tight or loose the shirt fits or anything of that nature?

The above was the result of a less than 5 minute total search time on google. search string used "US Army" "Class B uniform" As you can see, there's regulations regarding everything. How it's placed, where it's placed, when it's worn, how it's worn ect ect...that's why it's called "a uniform" uniform meaning everyone wears it exactly the same way under the same circumstances and situations. -Mac |

Re: Formal Wear Short Sleeve Shirts
The reason why I couldn't find it was because I did not know they were called class b shirts. With all due respect if I knew I wouldn't ask sir.
