Norwich
well, I just got my acceptance letter from Norwich University. I don't know if I really wanna go there, though. I'm still debating. They seem to want me. I just sent out my application 6 days ago...

Re: Norwich
Well my top choice is The George Washington University, but they're wicked competitive. My next choice is probably American University. Norwich is my third choice. I mean, I still think it'd be awesome, it's just not my first choice. 1. I am WAY over the snow. 2. I love DC. 3. I HATE THE SNOW! I would still love the lifestyle and think it'd be an awesome experience, though. Well, I'm just gonna have to see if I get accepted to my other schools and then look at financial aid and see if any of them are gonna be WAY out of my price range. We shall see.

Re: Norwich
If I do go to Norwich it's required to do ROTC for your first few years. I will do air force if I end up going there. If I go to GW I'm not gonna do it, though. I wanna be a teacher. The main reason I want to go to Norwich is for the leadership experience and just the challanging experience in general. I think that'll definitly help me in life no matter what I do. Trust me. I know how exspensive GW is. The only problem is, practically every good college I looked at was up in the same price range. That's why another thing I'm waiting on before I make my decision is what kind of scholarships and financial aide I get from each school. I'm hoping cost wont totally determine which school I go to, but like I said before, we shall see.

Re: Norwich
honestly, the reality of the situation is the college really doesn't matter. whether you go to some local state school. or some big name school, unless you go for a technical degree its basically all the same. remember like 85% of people don't work w/in the degree they have.

Re: Norwich
Why German? If you want to be a cop? If you want to do a labnguage I would say do one in higher demand.

Re: Norwich
I love German... I started taking it because my ancestors were German and now I'm going over to Germany for a three week exchange thing this June. It's just an awsome language and culture.

Re: Norwich
I agree with your father. I wouldn't major in German, unless I wanted to teach or work for one of the Intel Agencies. IMO, I don't think your major should be yoru hobby (per se). Mine is, I am majoring in POly Sci and Intel, but I plan on working with it.
