Ok, always wanted to fly and blah and blah ill leave the dramatic story out, but i just found that i have scoliosis, does this completely take me out of any flying chances? The scoliosis is minor and i don't have any pains or porblems but i'm not sure howthey take it.

I think any back problems will disqualify you.

Re: Uh oh:O
yeah, thats what i thought too. maybe its a different person. but i was born with spina bifida, flat feet, and knock-knock knees and an army reqruiter said that if its bad enough i cant join but they'd have to actually take a look at me to check for the severity of the case. im guessing its the same for you. my vertebre in my lower back are malformed but i havent had a problem with it in my life. i even play highschool football.
and for the flat feet and knock-knock knees i didnt believe they'd turn you down for that but i guess thats how my uncle got outta vietnam, stupid draft dodger excuse if you ask me. |
