Question about the Apache

Who are the guys in the front seat? Are they also pilots? Flightschool Washouts? Navigators? Who?

I beleive that in an Apache the front seat is the pilot and the back seat is the gunner/navigator

You're backwards, Pilot is in the back the gunner is up front. To clarify what i was asking: I haven't seen an MOS of Apache Gunner, so where do the WOs that ride in the front seat come from?
