Re: Embarassing Moments
O.k., this wasn't that embarrassing.
I work for a local school system, and a few years ago when I was working at an elementary school, we had a "circurt rider" to come to our school to play out the part for our pioneer day. The lady that was the "circurt rider" had to go take care of business & I just happened to be out by her post that day. ( I had just got done setting up a desk for her to use and she had put a bunch of papers on it). She just kinda handed me the reins of the horse, and said she had to take care of personal business and off she went. Well, wouldn't you know... a small gust of wind came up right where we was standing, and the papers lifted up off of the table and spooked the horse. Well, me dumb school employee I am wasn't ready for it, and the horses' reins slipped right out of my hands. It took off all around the yard, and found the only exit. Next thing I knew it was heading right down a busy street!! So what do I do?? I give chase. So here I am with my work keys & radio flapping beside me trying to run down a horse in the middle of a busy street!! By the time I got to the nearest 4-way stop, someone had gotten the horse, handed it too me with a strange look upon his face. I just took the reins with a thank you and led the horse back to the school. When I got back, the handler was out on the lawn and pissed, because I let her horse loose!! I was too mad and embaressed to say much but, "next time you have to change your tampon, tie it to a tree!! Hopefully she got the point. -Pam |

Re: Embarassing Moments
Blabbering on about England facing Germany in tomorrow's World Cup match and what their chances are only to be met by blank looks and informed by the guys here that they're playing Sweden, not Germany. Talk about feeling like a total plonker...

Re: Embarassing Moments
On one of my partying nights, I supposedely picked up this "ugly duckling" and took him home with me. (That's the story my friends gave me...I sure as heck don't remember.) When I woke up the next morning and took a look at him, I decided to throw him out of the house. His clothes went out the window first and I refused to get them for him...Funny as hell for me - VERY embarrassing for him. I still have an evil grin on my face when I think about that one.
