Re: advice anyone
hey,
i am not a member of JROTC, but i can let you know what to expect. First off, there are going to be a lot of cap members who are going to suck you in with false info. they use bad communication symbols such as "you get to fly planes". This is true, but usually you get to go up every six months or so for about 1/2 hour. Also, you only get to fly cessnas. Secondly, from what i hear about the jrotc program around here, CAP is a lot more disciplined. I am sure that is not true for a lot of places, but here it is. So be aware of your surroundings, but remember there is a cadet protection policy so they cant drop you for pushups. I hope this helps somewhat. |

Re: advice anyone
I should also add thought that last time i checked, the AF had cut O-Flight funding, so that may be a thing of the past all together.. But i could be wrong i have been out of the loop for some time now.
