Coast Guard Rescues Two Boaters (Live 5 News Charleston)
The Coast Guard rescued two boaters who ran aground last night. It happened near Morris Island off Folly Beach. The two got stuck in the surf. A Coast Guard chopper responded and hoisted the men to safety. The men used a cell phone to call for help and are okay. But, Coast Guard officials suggest having a VHF radio on board vessels just in case.
