Royal Artillery (field)
I have my father's british army papers and among them is his release leave certificate dated 8 April 1946. At the top it shows his army number and present rank which is W/BDR. I understand the bdr stands for bombardier but can anyone tell me what the W stands for.
Many thanks Brenda |
