[Infantrymen]

I'm sure many of you have visited Wikipedia.org, or used some sort of wiki (a website that allows the visitors themselves to easily add, remove, and otherwise edit and change some available content, Hawaiian-language word for fast). Wikimedia has released the software used for it's wiki as open source (free for all to use), because of the I have decided to create the first official MilitaryWiki.

MilitaryWiki is a free Military reference Web site that features information, resources, events, groups, and organizations of the Armed Forces. The content of MilitaryWiki is free, and is written collaboratively by members from Military Ltd (Infantrymen's Military Forum). This Web site is a wiki, which means that any member can edit, correct, or improve information throughout the Military encyclopedia.

In every article, links will guide you to associated articles, often with additional information. Members are welcome to add further information, citations, or cross-references. You don't be afraid of accidentally damaging MilitaryWiki when you add or improve information, as other members are always around to help and correct errors.

Because this has been newly added I will need you help to get it going. All members may add and edit any page (with the exception of the main page). We need pages for all the topics that interest you (Armed Forces, Delta Force, Special Forces). Please don't be afraid to add a short description for a subject, other members will add to it and make it more.

Ohh cool. I'll be going strictly hands off though. Mostly because I really dont know squat that is relevant to the military today and... because, well, I doubt my ability to remain appropriatly snark free when writing stuff lol.

Awesome, I doubt there is anything I can add, unless you want parts of boring college papers about Vietnam or Afghanistan conflicts... but the other inpiut will be neat to read.

Thanks, I'm really excited about it. It's one more step to adding the information and free military resources I would like to see on the internet.
