OK, I've met plenty of USAF officers (my USAFA Admissions Liaison Officer included) who just state their job title as "Intelligence Officer". What on earth does this entail? It's probably a lot of things, but what could it encompass? Is my ALO off doing secret missions?

Eh, I don't know. I've gotta give him more credit than that! He's an Academy grad and a prosperous stock broker (all while still in the AF mind you). I'd like to think his skills could offer up more than a report on the morning news! LOL Seriously, though. I have no idea what he does.

as a former Intel Analyst the only thing I ever did was sort thru masses of int reports and sorting them into somewhat of a coherent stack for those interested to read.

I know there's lots more to the field that I never saw, heard about or guessed at but alot of it is also mundane, occasionally eye opening but still REMF desk stuff.
