Been a while
Howdy everyone, its been a while, I haven't been on here. I'm going up to MEPS tomorrow, Marines, got any last bit of advice, shoot. I leave tomorrow morning.
Clarify: 1. If they say they ain't got my MOS available for when I want to ship I just leave and I'll come back later, right? I want to ship ASAP after Christmas, family wants me around one last time. 2. My recruiter will be with me not during testing but during contract signing time, correct? Thanks. |

Nobody's gonna try to fuck you, Lamm.. You'll be fine, just roll with it. If things aren't on paper exactly as you've discussed with your recruiter, call him. If you can't reach him, go home and call him the next day. You'll piss people off, but it's YOUR contract. They need to honor their end of the bargain as much as you do. That having been said, things will almost certainly be just as you expect them to be. Good luck!

Roger, my recruiter, well the Boss of my recruiter and the other recruiter in my area said he'd be down there with me, that he does the contract stuff, along with the counselor down there.

All done, I flew up there Monday, messed around and got to business Tuesday morning. Like y'all said, get paperwork, write stuff, sit, wait, test, wait, test, wait, test, see the old doc and have him touch you, see another ol' doc and have him pass or fail you, I got passed, then see the Marine counselor, wait, swear in, and done and done. My recruiter drove me instead of me taking the bus, so that way I was the first turkey in the door and the first one done. Everything went well, no complication. I got 03XX, 4 years, I ship Jan 2. Now the count down.
