I am not a medic yet but damn it shocks me slightly that none have posted here yet. I will be going to basic on the 21st than off to A.I.T. for 91W anyone have any advice for me side note this is more a question about the responsibilities of 91w and what to expect and such not so much a basic training question

haha I have seen lots of blood already I have worked in ERs since I was 16 (now 20) I am a emergency tech already so I am slightly ahead of the learning curve for A.I.T.

91w school is only 16 weeks long. I'm guessing it says 17 weeks is because when you actually get the FT. Sam the class prior to you will be in they're last week, and this is the week that you will be doing all of your inprocessing.

Make sure to have fun while in San Antonio. 91w school is a fast passed school. You will probably have to cover around 3-4 chapters in about 2-3 days...If you have any question feel free to ask

Anyone got any info on reclass to medic 91W series? I am trying to get a better idea on what i need to do to reclass. Had my fill of combat arms...

Where in the sand pit of doom are you? was in southwest baghdad and FOB Kalsu for 15months with the 1st Armored until July of this year...

well , someone needs to patch up the wounded , if i were shot id owe a medic a great many favours if hed heal me from death , I've heard that medics are people who don't want to kill and i've heard them called pussies but many a veteran owe their lives to these people who take the same risks and have to got where the heaviest fighting is.
