Re: Military Police
Current MP in the reserve. Getting garrison over field duty would depend on what unit you get assigned to, there are some units that spend a lot of time in the field (I've heard) and some that spend less time.
Air Force cops and army cops.......not really much difference except that the SF guys also guard hangers and stuff, my ex squad leader came over from the AF because it was so hard to make rank. I think the SF guys also get more schooling. Any one else? |

Re: Military Police
I don't know about MP to SF, but I do know what you do at Fort Leonard Wood. Try the web site http://www.wood.army.mil/usamps/default.htm. This is a direct link to what you do in AIT. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

Re: Military Police
Hmmmm... ok AF has carpeted barracks with a wet bar--at least in Korea they did. They use a first name basis with everyone, hmmmm do yourself a favor and join the Army MP Corps. Iam not dissing the AF but I have worked with them a lot and they just lack discipline.
