Who has a Myspace account and what do you do with it? Do you mainly use it for close friends or to meet new ones?

Should I add some things from there for the profiles here (ie: fav music, TV shows)? If so what are some things you would like me to add?

I have an account. It's plain, and simple, but works. I don't use it much now, but my current plans for my MySpace account is to keep people/friends posted on how I am doing when I am in Recruit Training (I will have a friend or relative post letters from me, or something like that), and then use it to keep in touch with people I don't talk to on AIM/MSN Messenger. Anyone can be my "friend", I've met a few new people, but it's mostly just people I know at school, but don't talk to in person (kind of funny that I call them a friend...) But that's about all I use it for.

I've only recently begun to use myspace, and I primarily have been using it to find and maintain communication with people I've lost touch with over the years. Seeming everyday, I have a friend request and its someone that I've wondered what became of them, and how they're doing.

Never messed "My Spaces".....I use MSN Spaces for my blog stuff, such as it is. I guess I could check out this blog site....but from what I have heard, I dont want any 14 year old girls trying to chat me up

I have a myspace account and I contact all my buds with it. The great thing is everyone has one, and it's free. I contact my ranger buddies in Georgia, my 82nd buddies, my 10th Mountain buddies all on myspace.

Actually I just started mine not long ago, and only because my son Ryan started one, so I thought it would be another way to keep in touch with him. But after getting on there, I found I could do almost anything with it "within reason". I have found some new military people there and that is good and some long lost "Hoosiers". But it is a site that I could personalize for me and what I like ect.

You do find at first you do get alot of people wanting to be "your friend" I just check their profiles and go from there. If they are just some wannabe friends..then no way do I add them. With some folks (kids) it is just like a popularity contest or something..get as many friends as you can. But it is not like that with us older folks trying to find legit people....we are really trying to find people with our own interests and we do!!

Use to have one. Might bring it back again.... I get code crazy. Make a nice page than start to hate it...change it like it again for alittle than hate it even more than the original.. change it some more it looks ok try to make it better....Completely screw it up and have to start all over again * shrugs *
