Re: New Navy BDU's

I think it's a waste of my tax dollars. Why should the Marines spend millions of my dollars to come up with a new uniform, then the Army spend millions of my dollars to come up with their own new uniform, ditto the Air Force and the Navy.

What's wrong with one uniform with a patch that says, "US NAVY" or "US MARINES" or "US ARMY"?

Guess that would just make too much fucking sense.

Re: New Navy BDU's

The Army and Marines focus on land warfare - I can see the need to adapt. I can even see units attached to SOCOM acting independently to adjust. But, your mark 1 sailor / airmen - yea, I agree - it seems like a waste of money.

Re: New Navy BDU's

I have to agree as well. Lots of tax dollars wasted on new uniforms when they aren't needed.

Yeah, the above mentioned deal sounds just like the Canadian Defense Services. No Army, no navy, just a bunch of folks in the same uniform with patches.

No thanks. Give me my crackerjacks, my khakis, and my CPO hat. Screw a bunch of BDU's.
