Re: Creamed Chipped Beef ( aka SOS }
There are over 100 recipes for chipped beef. I think I have tried at least 90 of them, and I loved them all!

Firdt the eggs, then the taters on top, then the gravy on top of that. Put the punch in it with either LA Hot sauce O Basco, and I'm going to town.
B'Fast of Champions! Every morning for 20 years! I still get the Misses to make it for me from time to time, but I still love it! |

Re: Creamed Chipped Beef ( aka SOS }
Breakfast of champions . . . I'm with Angelbear. I make mine like she does, simply because it is tough to find chipped beef anywhere. I have used that stuff in the lunch meat section (in the bag), it works, but not salty enough.
MacTank knows how to eat it. While many people say that is doesn't sound all that good, once you cook up a batch on a cold morning, there are always takers. Never forget: there always has to be toast in the pile somewhere!! |
